Nana's Attic began almost three years ago as a small, family run business. Within one year, we expanded into online sales with Amazon.com, and then onto our current site. Our founder, and my mother, believed that a beautiful home was created from many elements, not just the things that filled it.
It was nearly forty years ago when Nana decorated her first home on a limited budget and drew compliments from anyone that entered. She was shabby chic before there was such a term. Always known for her exceptional taste and her ability to create "simple, livable beauty", she created Nana's Attic and our family business was born.
Nana's Attic has grown to include a huge selection of home decor, gifts, garden decor, home accents, decorative accessories, collectible dolls, seasonal decorations, bedding, kitchen essentials, silk flowers, and pet supplies. We stretched our wings even further early in 2009 with the addition of our other site PunkyBearToys.com, built around Nana's belief that life needs to get back to family and what really matters.
At the start of 2009, Nana retired and placed her hard work in my hands. My hope is that thirty years from now, I can pass it onto my daughter. I know every business owner hopes for that, but who knows? I would have never dreamed that the business that used to operate off our kitchen table, would become NanasAtticStore.com.
