As the Christmas season approaches, do you cringe at the idea of dragging out the tired poinsettia decorations that you have used for years? Would you like something new and original that no one else has? After years of creating floral design for my customers, I'm going to share one of my most popular designs for the Christmas season.
This contemporary design is easy and inexpensive to make and will be the envy of all your holiday guests.
Materials:
Clear Glass Vase 12 Inches Tall or More
Small Christmas Figure (Small Enough to Fit Inside Vase)
5-7 Christmas Picks of Artificial Pine with or without Embellishments
1-2 Artificial Berry Stems
Christmas Themed Ribbon
Floral Foam
Tinsel
Glue Gun and Glue
Instructions: Glue the Christmas figure to the inside bottom of the vase. Surround with tinsel. Glue the Christmas themed ribbon around the neck of the vase. Cut the foam to fit into the top of the vase, secure with glue, and cover with moss. Insert the picks throughout the foam, spreading them out to cover as much area as possible. Cut apart the berry stems and insert into the vacant areas of the arrangement.
This contemporary design has extreme versatility regarding color and design. The possibilities are endless and the only limitations are your own imagination.
